And if you add to that the concept of the computerized home, home-based jobs from which, in combination, said the prophets, would have emerged an abstract city suffused by the glow and hum of personal computers, but devoid of energy, in which the only problem would have been the alienation of citizens separated one from the other by the cold video grids and plasma screens. These new technologies can ameliorate the sense of depersonalization because they are deconstructing our ideas of social behaviors. Luca Curci
